Voyage Golf and Poker Tournament Information

Ritz Golf Course-Grand Cayman

$1,000 Buy-in
$700 to prize pool
$300 to golf, food, and prizes
($85 additional to rent clubs)

The tournament will take on the exquisite grounds of The Ritz-Carlton Golf Club, Grand Cayman, a Greg Norman design. This 9-hole course has views of the North Sound, abundant sunshine and Caribbean breezes. All golfers will play the course twice.

This is a blind draw partners tournament; the draw will take place on the ship the night before the tournament.

We will also host a Calcutta (minimum bid $200) the night immediately following the draw. Partners will not be in the same pairings. Calcutta will pay three spots for golf and three spots for poker (30%-15%-5%) and teams may buy back half of their own team. Matt Savage and Lynn Gilmartin to host Calcutta in a location to be determined. Bidders need not be required to players in the tournament.

We will use “Golf Genius” for scoring and Leaderboard. Matt Savage or Warren Woodall with help you learn how to use and you just need to download the free “Golf Genius” app.

Golf
Format is best ball and 100% of current handicaps will be used. Players must have a current GHIN/WHS index or an approved handicap by the committee (Matt Savage-Phil Ivey-Warren Woodall-Tyler Patterson).

Here’s how the points will work
Hole in one 10 points
Net albatross 6 points
Net double eagle 5 points
Net eagle 4 points
Net birdie 3 points
Net par 2 points
Net bogey 1
Net double bogey 0 points

Each point is equivalent to 1,000 in chips. If you and your partner net par you start with 36,000 in chips.

Cash prizes awarded for golf and the poker, you can win both.

50% of the money to the golf and 50% to the poker

Partners Poker Tournament
Partners can switch every level or if player is in WPT Championship Event one player can play whole event. Teams are only required to have a partner play one full level. If one player is unable to play then chips will be blinded off first level.
